Thalassa domicile is the network of retail boutiques of Emco Corporation.

Founded in 1906 in London, Ontario, as Empire Manufacturing Company Ltd., Emco Corporation recently celebrated a century of success.

In September 2000, Emco, through a local acquisition opens its first retail branch in Quebec City, under the banner Thalassa domicile. Since that date, the Company has shown steady growth throughout the Province of Quebec.

In 2001, Emco continued its expansion with a new Thalassa domicile boutique in Sorel-Tracy.

In September 2005, Emco breaks new grounds in the Province of Quebec with the inauguration of Thalassa domicile in St-Bruno. Offering a turnkey showroom solution, the St-Bruno branch becomes the first Premier Kohler Showroom in Quebec, a stunning new concept that combines exceptional products, service and value.

Thalassa domicile acquires a presence in Trois-Rivières in 2006 with the acquisition of René-Carle, a well-known local business, who already enjoyed a solid reputation in the area and shared Emco’s vision of quality and service.

In January 2007, Thalassa domicile opens in Laval. This location will be the second Premier KOHLER Showroom in the Province of Quebec.

In November 2005, Emco acquires Batimat and completes its offer with this renowned distinctive high-end boutique while offering Montreal customers a new facility.
